this video sucks and it's really, really long for me but i honestly wanted to share this idea and concept of video because i adore alec's story, how he came out and how he struggled with his sexuality and i thought that making this shitty vid with tons of voiceovers would be great (GUYS I CAN DO PROPER VOICEOVERS WITHOUT BACKGROUND MUSIC, THAT'S BEEN LIKE THE BIGGEST SUCCESS IN 2K16 FOR ME SO FAR - okay also with the fact that katherine mcnamara liked me two tweets, thats success too)

I love the show for making Alec like this. Because the stages of being mentally abused is: Confused, stressed, isolation, depressed, bitter, and eventually anger, and you can tell this has been happening for a while because he isn't even shocked when it happens. I believe this is why Alec is the way, now don't think I'm trying to excuse his behavior, I'm not saying that he can't be just a plain arsehole sometimes. And note I did not do research on the stages, does were just the stages I experienced when I was mentally abused.

Every time I watch the part where Clary sneaks out of the institute and Jace blames Alec for it and says 'maybe your best isn't good enough' I wanna jump into the screen and punch Jace and keep punching. Not sure I can forgive him for that one, Alec deserves a better parabatai. >o< Amazing video, the song is so fitting and pretty and the video is done so well, I loved it. <3

I literally cried throughout the whole thing!!! Omg season 1 Alec always makes me emotional because he was so sad, and was afraid to be himself, and he just wanted people to acknowledge his accomplishments every once in a while. And when I think of how far he has come as a character it just makes me emotionalll😭😭😭❤️
