In Chinese cities, even if you live in a highrise building, you can charge your EV at home. They call it an "Electric Pillar", an electrical outlet on a pole with an app-enabled controller. You can install one at your parking spot in the underground garage for about ~RMB5, 000 (US$750). You can turn it ON or OFF with your phone, and the billing with go directly to your home.

There are 56 million Citizens living in the US over the age of 65. I consider myself somewhat computer savvy and can handle a smart phone just fine. But, many of my friends and relatives are not and fear getting too deep into their smart phone. 79 to 75 years old and they get anxious about using one. I believe Tesla would be wise to make their software have the ability to tone all the screen settings down to simple options easy to understand. Our kids and grandkids could set up our setting, then switch over “ Senior mode”. I am looking forward to purchasing a Tesla in about two years. Self driving will be valuable by then to people who are desperate to hang onto driving privileges. Senior mode may be what will keep 56 million drivers as a viable market. What do you think?

I'm very interested in tipping points. As a student of environmental impact I have long known about tipping points. As you mentioned, they illustrate the spread of a virus, although a tipping point manifests itself in all scenarios where potential sweeping change can occur. The 2020s and, I'm absolutely certain, the 2030s will become a window of incredible change, both good, and bad. The amount of bad depends upon how quickly we change our habits and who we leave behind.
