I have a question: After my son finishes reading me a book, we turn off the light and i tell him stories. Sometimes non-fiction stories from my childhood, sometimes i make up stories! He like those a lot, asking me for "fiction"
I spontaneously made up a story recently. I made it up as i went. Up until that moment, i had no idea what that night would bring. The story was about a lonely crocodile. I even loved it. The very next morning i digged it. And found a book about the lonely crocodile called Salty.
How could I have avoided plagiarism of i were not to see Salty come up on my research a d published a book almost identical?
What are your tips? How do you handle that as there are millions of books out there? Thanks in advance!

It’s a childrens book. And I don’t know how to load it.. does a childrens book have to be done on Kdp kids create or can it be done on Kdp?? I just don’t understand..

not every story has to have a message behind it...there's nothing wrong with just writing a good story if the reader finds a message somewhere in there, that's all good, but not every story has to have a message or lesson in it.
