C-130 Hercules: The 70 Year Old With New Tricks!

This is the Lockheed C-130 Hercules, an American four-engine turboprop military transport aircraft designed and built by Lockheed Martin.

Still in production in 2024, the C-130 first entered service with the United States Air Force in 1956 but, remarkably, the prototype actually took its first flight 70 years ago on 23 August 1954. This makes it the longest continuously operating military aircraft in history!

I hope you enjoy the video.

They don’t sound the same with the 6 blade props. First aircraft I worked on in 1980.
