Great tip with easy fix. I also have my LIVESCOPE powered via a fuse box like yours and this is a quick fix to get back scoping without much of a hiccup! 😃

Good call, I had similar issues, had to reboot black box a few times per trip. Then I would just have to shutoff ahrs and set manual pitch. Got to where the compass would. It calibrate as well. Garmin sent out a new lvs34.

Every time this has happened to me the transducer goes out a few weeks later.

This winter was my first time using LS ice fishing. I once had the screen start rocking. I paused the transducer. Unpaused and it stopped.

Nice fix!! Thanks. You would think Garmin should be able to figure this out?👍👍🐟🐟

Randy I was having to calibrate my compass 3-5 per trip because of the rock.
2nd to last trip I went on my LS (LVS34) just started going crazy. Wouldn’t show anything & had a bad lag with that. Updated on the water & started working better but still had a lag & would not let me calibrate my compass. Called Garmin, they said my compass had gone out. Sent me a new 1 & now I’m back on the water.

How often do you give on the water lessons? I might be interested in getting one.

Mine does that when i lift the trolling motor up to change spots. The trick i use is to turn the transmit off before lifting the trolling motor up now.

I never had this issue but first thing that came to mind was.. change the settings from automatic position to lets say just forward scan?? Is it rocking from down scan to forward scan?

This just started happening for me this summer. Toggle on black box used to work for me, but no longer does. My calibration stays at 0% when I try to calibrate. Talked to a Garmin rep yesterday and he suggested restoring unit to defaults and then updating. if those steps don't fix it, then it's a new transducer which I would really like to avoid.

Was it not adjusting the TVG or something covered in your other video?

I would like to ask a question about the Maps that was installed in my Garmin. I reset my Garmin back to factory settings when I did I lost my map for this area. The Garmin Went back to where that unit came from in Florida, can I get my Maps back on this easily or what do I need to do, I would like to mark way points but can’t.

Another way that I’ve stopped the rock is to go into installation and click on calibrate compass. Actually click calibrate but don’t rotate the boat, let the calibration fail. I don’t know why, but it will stop the rocking. Next trip I actually calibrated the compass before I started fishing.

I thought it was only me! It's such a hassle happens three times per day minimum... I appreciate the video but these solutions won't work for me. There has to be a better way looking forward to an update when you hear back from Garmin. 👍

I had this happen the other day in the back channel cut all power to my unit. Restarted it and was good to go. I have a switch that connects my power to the unit so simple switch on and off and was good to go.🤜🏽🪵
