The film is set during the last months of World War II in April 1945. Shia LaBeouf really surprised me in this movie. Together with Brad Pitt I felt very sad watching him die.
The others actors played very good too btw.

The acting in this movie is fantastic. I am and always have been a fan of Shia, but after seeing him in this, he may now possibly be my favorite actor. Excellent!!

This scene is what ruined it for me. It should have been epic if a major battle happened instead of this lone tank destroying on what it seems like 2-3 battalions of infantry armed with panzerfaust and they only taught of using it when more than half of their manpower was killed.
