Can we all just see that Eggman did his best in this game. His voice was evil, he got all 7 emeralds into the machine ready to blow up the world, pity his grandfather got one over him on a revenge plan.

I love how this song is completely different when compared to SA1 Eggman.
SA1 has just a menacing tune, while SA2 gives us lyrics. It only makes sense, we're actually playing as Eggman now, we can hear his thoughts in lyrical form.

Modern Eggman: *split the earth in pieces, kidnapped a princess to umleash hell, took control of a time entity, and managed to rule the planet with a reality warping crystal*
Boom Eggman: *takes a selfie and causes shadow to get his ass handed to him*

Everybody here naming off the badass things Eggman has done but let's forget that not only did this fool blast the moon in half and Amy at gun point, but this fool shot Sonic into the Earth's atmosphere to DIE which was pretty damn savage.

Even as a child, I loved this version of Eggman. This one game (and also somewhat Sonic Adventure 1) are the reasons that Eggman is one of my favourite villains.
