Just as an additional info. Vedic math has basic system for small children. It starts with counting pebbles and grouping them in different way like 6 is 2 sets of 3s. Than they learn addition. Subtraction, multiplication and division are taught as various forms of addition. Than we learn bar numbers, compliment numbers, flag numbers, carry on numbers and how to use them. than move to large numbers and fractions. Than complex functions and various equasions. than geometrical calculations and nore details on all the previous. next are shortcuts and various alternative methods to reach an answer. Of course things are not so formal, but all these are evenly spread throughout the course. Something like this how i have learned vedic math.
