How to Pot Up Soil Blocks

After 10 years with this soil blocking system, it’s still my top pick. When you use a system that works, the work is easy.

My Seed to Table students aren’t required to use soil blocks but I sure make it easy for them by sharing all of the ideal block sizes and timing for each crop.

Wow, you do make this look really easy. How do you water so that they don't fall apart before the block is held together by roots?

Or just start in 2 inch blocks, I switch to sort boxes here, which is the best thing I’ve ever done, but I almost bought the mini, but didn’t see any reason to. I guess it’s Trey space is the reason you would? The question becomes how does the trace pays automatically increase when you’re ready to transplant because you’re still gonna need all of those trays 2 inch blocks. I’m not criticizing, I’m just trying to get a diff perspective.

I wish I could do that. I tried gardening last year and failed miserably. I don't know if I'll try it again.

Why do we need to up pot? Why can’t we just put them in 4” pots (or soil blocks) and then plant them out?
