I feel like you missed out on pointing out how the Super Tactical Droid BEAT THE EVER LIVING CRAP out of Anakin

The officer who shot the two B2s wasn't in clone armor because he was a medical officer, which are basically more highly trained and specialized clone medics that don't see frontline combat. They're still trained for combat, but they don't see it unless they're in dire situations.

I like the detail of non clone soldiers showing genuine fear. Like the medic combat is lacking so they show him in complete fear. Which reminds you not every clone was raised for combat.

16:10 I think the trooper’s missing head is actually an animation error. It’s likely that the Clone’s heads are made invisible while they’re wearing their helmets to avoid things like clipping, and someone probably just forgot to set the visibility toggle for this scene.

I think the blurry shadows on the clones heads is just a cheap move to avoid having to model dead clone troopers when the droids remove their helmets for backgrounds almost noone would look frame by frame. They just displaced the standard model head to where the helmet ends, blurr the decapitated body to pretend the head was under the helmet and call it a day.

Notice how Tup looks at Anakin Twice and doesn't react.

1:42 It could very well be the case that Ringo Vinda is a small dwarf planet. Planetary objects can greatly range in size, and there are quite a few that are less than 10% of Earth's diameter, that are dense enough to be gravitationally rounded.

You can tell the animators really love their jobs in the sequence

I recommend reading up on both real life and Star Wars armor as I think that would clear up a lot of your confusion. To summarize my understanding: Phase I was capable of tanking lighter blaster bolts but was uncomfortable and heavy. Phase II was lighter more modular and designed much like modern combat armor to protect against glancing blows from blasters but mostly to protect against shrapnel and concussive force. As for the shields it's important to remember that GAR tactics generally rely on speed and maneuverability so heavy unwieldy shields wouldn't be a great idea. They're used here because their forces are forced to advance through long confined hallways with no cover.

Fun fact about clone armor, it’s designed to disperse the heat from blasters, this has the unfortunate side effect of knocking them out. 9/10 times they survive.

There's a scene you left out that I thought was cool. When tup attack the red female jedi and was forced into the wall. Commander doom stood up and posed in Dr doom's stance where he stands up and puts his arms behind his back. That part looked badass, and how they added that to the episode made it just as amazing

And after the battle of ringo vinda, there was the battles of Paul, George and John in the Beatles system of planets

11:00 I think that palpatine programmed order 66 so it doesn’t apply to anakin, this would prevent a clone from accidentally killing Vader

Shields were mainly used for close quarter combat mainly. I can't remember what episode but they do talk about the fact the CIS preferred over welming numbers, which is why we didn't see many deadlier units like b2 super rocket troopers as b1 and b2 were super cheap, easy and quicker to make so that was the main unit of cis then it was commando druids then droidecars

One of the things I've seen you mention many times is droids having a "trigger finger reflex" when they die. The E-5 blaster that droids use is an automatic blaster, if the droids are pressing the trigger, and then are killed, there is no signal for them to let go of the trigger, thus their finger remains on the trigger until they fall in a way that loosens the grip. There isn't a reflex to feather the trigger or anything, their hands would just remain as they are, potentially squeezing the trigger, for several moments while collapsing.

Also, for living organisms, this is a legitimate reflex. That's why in a lot of media you can see a standoff where someone has a hostage and a gun to their head. It isn't always a good idea to take out the bad guy, because if you shoot him or anything, the body will reflexively tense up, and it's very possible they will pull the trigger in the process. And of course for automatic weapons, the reflex can last a few moments causing multiple rounds to be fired before the grip loosens.

my understanding (might be wrong) is that the material clone armour is made of (plastoid) converts some of the energy of the blaster bolt to kinetic energy, often knocking out clones or causing injury, a moment that would back thisnup is captain keeli getting up a while after being shot.
I very well may be wrong however so if anyone knows more about plastoid then pls leave a reply, Id love to learn more

Yeah there’s theory’s that palpatine did something to make the clones not identify anakin as a Jedi when there in there order 66 state

aww you cut out the best line in the entire episode "you were experiencing drag in the vacuum of space?" just how the Super Tactical droid for a second forgets how stupid his B1 subordinance are and just doesn't question it

10:51 I’m pretty sure it’s because the order to kill anakin is not the same as order 66
