I've first learned about Wawel Dragon (Smok Wawelski) in the short timed fantasy made documentary series Beast Legends.

Smok's name is similar to the dragon Smaug from J.R.R Tolkein's story The Hobbit.

This is inspirational.

Smok might be one of the true fire breathing dragons, decended from Beowulf's Dragon the daughter of the satan Helel's/Heylel's snake form, meaning that Smok was angelic.

One of this website's video about Smok is said that he was the last mythical dragon on earth.

I belive that dragons are snakes since the word dragon comes from the Greek word drakon, meaning great snake, wich means that Smok might have been a giant snake.

If Smok Wawelski breathes fire, he might be one of Beowulf's dragon's descendants.

Satan dragons (true fire breather) are the children of the statan "Heylel (Lucifer)".

Smok's name might be the inspiration of Smaug from J.R.R Tolkein's The Hobbit.
