5000 years of a string instrument played with a plectrum have evolved into.

Him and Carlos Santana and John McLaughli, Steve Vai with Frank Zappa are the epitome of
1970's legendary FUSION guitar

Sucks that Al is 70 years old now. I miss when he could rip through those riffs. But the fingers just won't work the same once you get up there in age. Legend.
