As a Mavs fan I hate that he will not be running with my favorite team anymore but as a Jalen fan I am happy for him, wish him the best in his career and love how he plays the game! The Mavs took a lot of heat for not signing him earlier but honestly it appears this was always Plan A (purely a guess and no disrespect)! Knicks got a special player!

Seeing Jalen on the Knicks reminds me how old I am lol. The 98-99 team is what made me a fan of basketball. NBC would always mention Rick’s backstory when he got in and for some reason that always stuck with 8 yr old me.

He is getting $26 M from NY, Dallas offered him $20 M. it seems like more, but 20 M in TX goes much further than 26 in NY. A million dollars in NY gets you an apartment, A million in Texas gets you an apartment complex.
