Thanks for making this informational video, this video has clarified the reason of why we take two the power no. of bits. I did not know that but now I know that there are 2 combinations in each bit so we take power of two .Thanks a lot.

I feel like a flashlight might not be the best metaphor because you can't send something like "on, on, on" because you have to turn the flashlight to the off position to turn it on again — thus the series will always be "on, off, on, off, on" etc...

Can you explain me if lets say 1 PIN from Arduino microcontroller is 1 bit? And what is a PORT translated to the software( for example more bits? If so how many? Or maybe 1 byte).I didnt understand in school.
