Flamme Rouge: Meteo Expansion Review

Taking a quick look at this small expansion to one of my absolute favorite games. Huge thanks to New Friend Greg for being the best hand model ever. We'll miss you, dude!

We have a spare Meteo pack we intended to give to someone before lockdown. Tempted to use two packs, eg to have wind direction reflect the course rather than completely random tile picks

We always use it with the Peleton Expansion but only use 4 cloud tiles so there's always at least 3 weather tiles. Rain and cobbles is a great combination. As mentioned in video, the effects are small but significant. So unlikely to be knocked out of the game and be bored while others carry on playing. But can lose a position or two. Even crosswinds not allowing slipstreaming favours using a big card while chasers can't bridge that little gap as you cross the finish line

When a weather backdrop standee is set between a curving track (in the shape of a U-turn), does the effect trigger on both sides of the standee (both tracks), or just one side of the track? *For ex.- @2:06 in the video.

I really hate expansions that come with their own boxes when they dont need them honestly. I wish more would just do little packages
