The first time I played through a cranked 100W Marshall I had a religious experience! I am now 66 years old and that was about 50 years ago. I still have not recovered from that experience and to be honest, I don't ever want to!

part of me just wants a Marshall for the cleans. I feel like Marshall cleans are so underrated when they are so crisp and tuneful

Yes, I am admitting my shame! 😂😂😂
Enjoy the demo!

I've wanted a Marshall amp and twin cab stack since I was a teenager - only I could never afford one. Now I am much older and I could easily buy one, I wouldn't be able to pick it up and carry it around!

You just cannot beat Marshall valve amps, I have been gigging them for over 40 years and never had a problem, Jim Marshall was one of the nicest guys that I have ever met God rest his soul.

The Classic Crunch with Marshall + Tele is a tone I've been looking for.

I bought the DSL100H when it first came out along with the MX412A & MX412B cabs. It has served me well over the years and still has the original tubes in it.

I've owned the Marshall DSL40 for about 4 years.
I absolutely love it!
It's handled gigs of all sizes, inside, outdoors.
It sounds fantastic!

Every time you played an open D chord I thought I could hear Malcolm Young. FWIW - Marshall are based in my home town and about 38 years ago I went to the (rather small and basic) factory and they gave me a tour whilst my amp was checked out on the bench. The loveliest guys. God bless Jim.

I bought this amp and its counterpart, the Marshall DSL40CR about three years ago. Definitely versatile amps, lots of power and tone. My favorite amps thus far in life. One description I read about this amp: "It's powerful, loud, has that undeniable Marshall tone, works perfectly, has nothing cheap looking, feeling or sounding about it. It will take your hand and lead you through ambient valleys of beautiful clean tone... then with the flip of a switch it will take your hand, rip off your arm and beat you over the head with it."

I really dig the “classic crunch” tone. I would try to take that one into metal territory with a boss super over drive as a boost and a BBE sonic stomp in the effects loop.

If you have a Marshall and a Fender, you can play anything. With a few pedals, all you really need is this Marshall to cover just about anything. My 2006 DSL got me through years of a cover band with about 250 songs from all genres. They are easy to mod too.

Special thanks to Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Pete Townshend, Jimi Hendrix, Ritchie Blackmore and Yngwie Malmsteen among the rest on the note of humbuckers and single coils pushed through the Marshall so beautifully, proving the perfect formula of a crunchy tone!

My first(and only) Marshall is a 2003, JCM2000 TSL100. I bought it, with a 1960A cab, from a pawn shop for $900. The thing blew my mind! I haven't touched my SS amps since. I've only played through the 50w setting and even at 3, it's way loud! We are, temporarily, living in an apartment so, I bought a Weber, Mass 200 attenuator so I can still get "the sound" at lower levels. Such an awesome amp!

Darrell... This has got to be the best tone that I’ve heard from your channel so far. Thank you for showing the Marshall amp. I have this amp, I have play many shows with this amp. I love this amp! I also have a JVM 410H and a Marshall DSL100H as well. One of the best bang for the buck Marshall amp tones for the money. I’ve owned a lot of mesa boogies over the years. Marshall seems to have a low mid range that not a lot of other amps have that make it sound full even with the bass and treble down. It just cuts through the mix very well and fits in the EQ spectrum with other instruments very very well. Thanks for the great videos!
To get the best tone out of the amp is if you turn the channel volumes 3/4 of the way up and turn the masters down you get rid of some of the fizzy tone. FYI

Long overdue Marshall Darrel ! I had the joy of a personal tour of the Marshall factory. They really really care about the sound they make. Hec they created the rock sound. Every amp is hand made.
Don’t worry about the plastic corners. They’re made for taking the knocks on the road. They’re there to protect that all important Marshall sound. Great to hear you loving all the tones. You’ll be so glad you bought it. From a proud Brit!🇬🇧
