Bought this mixer with a couple of PLX-500 for my first DVS setup and I must say that the mixer is doing it's job very well.
It dosen't bring much to the table, only the standard and most crucial that the DJ needs.
Since I am just using DVS, I bought DDJ-SP1 for purpose of effects and smoother command of Rekordbox, and all the sudden you don't feel that you need a "bigger" mixer.

Traktor DVS supports this mixer with version 2.11.3 of Traktor Pro. It's awesome this mixer works with Traktor DVS!

You say it comes with Software for my laptop
But I don’t see a cd-rom in the box . How come ? Or do you have to download it somewhere ? :)

Regarding the post fader effects, doesn't mean it's effectively a midi controller for the software. Are you sure the channel faders don't feed the USB outputs to the software? The software processes the audio and sends it back dirty...like a send and return.

Great review on this mixer, I choose this over the 450 mk2, I found I had more space simple! Which is very important if your mixer or scratch Dj, only thing I found and this rekordbox software, DVS on technics turntables is not accurate for mixing like serato Dj DVS, I'm not sure if pioneer just designed it for digital pitch pioneer turntables ? DVS works but you have to work more to lock the mix

Hey there, great review! I am wondering if I can use the XLR to jack to record to my laptop? With my previous mixer (Behring DJM750) I used tape to jack and that worked, but not with this one. Since I bought the programme, I now want to keep using it! TIA

Since I have an SL-3 can I just hook that up and still get the effects? Since the S3 is the same mixer but $150 more, I rather put that $150 elsewhere. Just looking for a mixer to replace my Vestax 05...yeah an 05. Matter of time that crossfader will break and won't be able to find a replacement, like my CFFV2.

Please help, rekordbox doesnt recognize the djm on audio output
Also when i connect the mixer to recordbox it only recognize the channel faders, any suggestions😕
