This mixer is fantastic! Have taken DJM-450 to many venues and had no trouble with booth control, most monitors have a volume knob. There is also a 3rd channel which I've used for a sampler.

Thanks for the review. It was just what I needed to know. Concise and to the point. I'm new to your channel but can tell that you're into everything I'm into, only further along than I hope to be! BTW, can you please share tips on how you constructed that vinyl crate/keyboard stand combo along your wall? It looks like a great space-saving construction. Kudos!!! I've had a 450 for 5 years now. If anyone really needs a booth output... (1) use XLR splitter cables and adjust the volume using the individual controls on the monitor speakers. Or (2) use the separate RCA outputs for the monitor speakers and the XLR outputs for the PA system. Or (3) connect the output to a mixing console where you can then have even more refined control over volume and EQ.

Ive played many big parties with my 450 but everyone is different ive been a dj since 1981 so a monitor is not such a big issue for me like it would be for you
