As many other people, I went back to the Yoga with Adriene archives, taking my time with old videos during the pandemic. It does my soul good and I appreciate the years of work Adriene shared with us. Going back to the classics during quarantine seems to be a common theme among people all over the world, be it YouTube videos or series or movies or books. Thank you, Adriene, for being such a support to everyone through your tireless work. Sending love to everyone.

It’s really nice to see a yoga teacher focusing on the fundamentals, prioritising the connection between the breath and the body, going through the intricacies of the movements in an open, and playful way. I frequently get caught up with where I should have my base, the starting position, pressure points and where I should exert force when carrying out the movements; so having these covered in a way that was playful and very human was a breath of fresh air. It genuinely makes me feel like I’m with a cheeky yoga friend who is super excited to just get moving and have fun with the movements; so for this experience to have been made manifest in watching a video 13 years old is amazing! And something for which I am infinitely grateful, so thank you, and I hope that kind, open hearted spirit remains with you Adriene to this day. ☺️

Been practicing for 10 years and this is the first time I’ve embraced cat cow as a journey, literally a meditative experience. Thank you

You're absolutely the best... I don't feel like I'm failing doing yoga with you. I feel like I'm treating my body instead if hurting it/forcing it to do things it doesn't do yet. thank you

Music to my ears. I hope you slept well! Also, I love to do this in the morning before I even get out of bed. My dog has learned to wait till I am done doing my cat cow variations before he can whine to be fed ;)

Wheee! This is great news! I want the videos to serve people at home and in their bodies but also to serve as preparation (physically and mentally - sometimes emotionally :) to go deeper into Yoga and spend some time on themselves. We are worth it! Perhaps then we can feel comfortable and empowered in any public class! Thanks for the feedback! XO A

Hi Rida, it is common. Your wrists are probably not used to being used in this fashion. Everyone is different so I try not to use the word "Normal" but yes it is common :) Make sure you are pressing up and out of your foundation- and not sinking dead weight into your bones/joints - wake up the body. This becomes easier with practice- or rather with practice you will begin to find more ease. You can also experiment with turning your fingers out just slightly- or also practice this on fists. XO, A

I do this every morning, and it keeps my back flexible and healthy, I neve experience back pain. I looked for this video to send the link to a friend in need, it was fun to see Adriene so young.

I don't think I have ever done cat-cow so thoughtfully and diligently. Really expanding the upper back on cat felt so good. 😻

I usually rush through this pose, and it left me in more pain than I started with. I never knew that I should do it bit by bit to really feel it, thank you!

Thanks Margo! YYTT can be challenging but its an ongoing challenge, right? Find the grace! I had to remind myself I did not need to be perfect in TT and to find the joy. Big time. Thank you and namaste to you!

Hi, Adriene.
You, again, remind me that how I "get" to the shape rather than the shape itself.
