Really appreciate your easy to understand video! I'm into long distance FPV and build antennas for the hobby. There are many RF cable options on the market. Beyond using lower impedance cable, do you have a rule of thumb in selecting it? On my UAV we care about weight and have relatively short cables less than 1 meter. On my ground station sometimes I want simple park flying which is line of site and I don't want to feel tethered to a ground station. Other times I want technical challenges and move things higher up, with perhaps 10 meters distance. I would like to know which cable you would use based on common needs such as cost, reliability, length, etc.There is also an issue of connectors and adapters. I know RP SMA is the new thing, but much of my equipment is SMA. So to protect myself from myself and damaging radio gear, I tend to make everything the same using an adapter. How much harm in terms of loss am I doing there, and is there a better solution that also keeps my equipment safe? How does a mere mortal like myself make sure my impedance is matched? I have an oscope and decent multimeter. As unlicensed hobbyists we are also limited in how much power we can use, so having very good antennas can bridge a gap that can't be overcome with a powerful signal booster. Though we can boost it back to the legal limit.  Looking forward to your tips!

I keep losing signal having to reset AMPs at hotels on the beach in Florida. I'm wondering if heat and humidity over time is messing with the signal.
All signal is transmitted through amps running to 8 ways straight to the rooms.
This is pissing me off I'm not seeing any intermittent intervals!! Ahhhh!! 🤣 🤣

You should know that people that decided to watch your video may not know what an RF cable looks like. You sorta showed one near the end, but you didn’t say anything like ‘here is one connected to this box’, so some folks may still not know what it looks like.
