I had a fire outside my townhome (it was caught in time and the damage was manageable). I was researching how to remove the soot on the brick. Thank you for sharing this tip! In less than 45 minutes I had removed 90% of the soot off the brick!! This stuff is amazing!

Scrubbing bubbles owes you a referral fee. It worked great on my fireplace!!! Removed years of residue. I never thought to use it anywhere but the bathroom. Now, I just cleaned out a deep freezer using it. It made the cleaning easy. Thanks for the tip!!

I came across this video today. My Outdoor grill was too close to the house and left a large soot stain on the textured brick. I tried pressure washing a couple of bricks with about 60% success. I happened to have this product in my bathroom and sprayed it on and then scrubbed with a hard bristle brush and now you can’t tell there was ever any soot on the bricks. Incredible! Thanks for sharing this video with us.

Great video. I got what I needed in a very short time. You were succinct. Many who do videos love to hear themselves talk. Less is more. I stop listening to many videos because they take way too much time. Yours was perfect!

Thank you for this tip. I didn’t have any scrubbing bubbles, but I had KaBoom. It works the same way except it sprays on blue and when it turns white it’s ready to be wiped off. This worked like a charm. I have hated that spot on my fireplace brick for years. Thank you!

This worked pretty well. I have a fireplace with light colored bricks on the inside. I literally got 35+ years of soot off. Granted, they were so bad it took multiple applications, and a lot of elbow grease, but I am pretty happy. Thank you.

If you have stone or brick or any other surface with soot on it that is painted DO NOT USE SCRUBBING BUBBLES, it will take the paint off. I have an outdoor fireplace with stone work around it that is painted to make the stone work look natural. I tested scrubbing bubbles on a small area and while it did an amazing job removing the soot it took the paint with it. I ended up using IMPERIAL Clear Flame 2 in 1 Stove Glass and Masonry Cleaner, worked great and didn’t hurt the paint.
