The Hindu community in the UK held a ‘Havan ceremony’ to mark the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla. A vegetarian banquet was also organised to mark the coronation. Earlier, Indian-origin artists Yash Patel and Jignesh Patel made a mural of King Charles III in West London’s Hounslow. The mural that had the Commonwealth as its theme was a gesture to welcome the new king. Flags of all 53 nations that are part of the Commonwealth were part of the mural.
