One time I worked with this one girl who's parents paid for their schooling and gave them spending money. I asked them why they were working there, and they said because otherwise she'd be bored and wanted stuff to do. I didn't say it, but I wanted to explain to her that around 90% of the current staff had 2nd jobs because the store purposely kept everyone at part time by only assigning 4 hour shifts, and that she took a spot of someone who actually needs to work to survive.
