Assigning a Password Policy to Global Groups

Password Bouncer’s Password Policy Assignment by Global Group provides a flexible way to assign policies. Assigning password policies by global groups is more flexible than assigning policies by organizational units and less tedious than assigning them by users. To assign a password policy to a Global Group, expand the Password Bouncer Module. Select a password policy. Under Assign Policy To, select Group. To assign a policy to a particular group, select the group's domain and enter or search for a group name. Then, select Next. Assigned groups are listed for review. To remove a group, select the Delete check box and select Save to enable your settings. Policy assignments by global groups may slow down many password-related actions, such as password resets and enumeration. For this reason, Policy Assignment by Group is disabled by default and enabled through Password Bouncer's global options.
