UCI HAS BANNED TOP TUBE DESCENDING !!??? 😱😱😱

The UCI, in their infinite wisdom, have decided that from April 2021 they will ban descending on the top tube which was popularised by Mohoric, Nibali, Sagan and Froome.

Consider weighting the front wheel is the issue, if on the toptube it's divided between wheels, the img of Froome shows him with a lot of front weight.

Yet he's tall, I'm 1.68m, 70kg, with knees in, feet parallel to the ground + an arm behind skater style & free to get behind the saddle, hand on the stem stays with toptube if you move weight forward onto the front wheel, that accelerates the bike better than more rearward weight.

I can jump potholes both wheels from it, test it out, the arm behind gets a rest a bonus.

The whole "kids/juniors will copy the pros" is a weak argument in my opinion... People in general are going to do stupid/dangerous stuff on a bike regardless if they are trying to imitate a pro. Also, are they going to delete/ban all the old youtube videos of pro's super tucking?

Super tuck title Super tuck. Who doesn’t want to watch a Froomey do a SuperT. Totally agree pros can and do do it semi safely away from the rest of the peloton. Maybe Dick wart UCi want the pros to stop it so us mere amateur Mamils don’t make a blunder too sugared up, who knows. Kinda buggy they knocked it on the head. Could smell it coming a mile off. Doesn’t make it any less sad them killing it
