Sony PlayStation Enhancements - Replacing the Laser - Part 2

Here's part 2, did the modchip job work? (yes, yes it did but here I swap the laser!)

Just a heads up fellas, on one of my units when I changed the laser there was a TIINY bit of some skipping/retrying sounds going on.
I just barely adjusted the POT anti-clockwise on the CD laser ribbon cable and now it's working 100% perfect. So if you're having issues after a replacement, maybe give that a try.
As far as I know the directions mean:
Clockwise = Makes laser stronNKer
Anti-Clockwise = Makes laser weaker

I've encountered a lot of cracktro thingies that change videomodes with L2 and R2 actually. Some apply 50Hz or 60Hz automagically depending on what region the PS1 is or something I dunno
