For some reason I got the PS5 version of Skywalker saga with the PS4 disc inserted, but the PS5 version doesn’t have the same data as my PS4 version. So I would have to start over on the PS5 edition.

Wait, so basically to upgrade to ps5 version you have to do it manually? All of this time, I thought the system automatically download the ps5 version everytime it installed the game from ps4 disc.

For call of duty Warzone, I have the ps4 version installed on my ps5. If I download the ps5 version and delete the ps4 version, will I lose anything? Progress/upgrades weapons, rank etc?

I buy mostly PS4 games that aren't true high powered AAA titles for this reason- I still have my PS4 Pro with 350 plus games on both HDs along w PS5 disc. Like the best of both worlds- but sometimes, like Joe and Mac disc today, you don't see the ps5 download prompt...where as Key We for example, had both on bar on top of PS5 as soon as I inserted the disc. Good video, this stuff is kinda confusing when you first get into it, and not self-evident at all!
