I got a new phone and it kept saying error when trying to setup password for voicemail but all you have to do is hold 1 setup the voicemail then once it’s done setup your voicemail password again and it works

Whenever I tried to check voicemail, I got the infamous "Error performing request unknown error". A simple phone restart cured it. I don't know why I just didn't try that in the first place before instantly blaming my service provider, but thanks nonetheless. lol

What did you put in call forwarding. It’s like you went pass that part pretty quick thanks

to set up password for voicemail, hold the number "1" on your keypad, that will give you a prompt to set up voicemail, set up the voicemail, then once it is done - setup your voicemail password again, and it should then work.
