Mine just says ‘call voicemail’ in the middle of the screen, trying the whole “hold one” thing just ends up with me being asked for a mailbox number? Anyone know where to call after this cause I put in my regular phone number (was the only thing I could think of) and that didn’t work and I’ve yet to find anything about it anywhere else

My voicemail has never worked on any iphone I've had since like 2014. From the phone app when I click "voicemail" down the bottom is says "call voicemail" so it's definitely turned on. When I click 'call voicemail' a robot-lady voice says
"Hi, the person you have called is unavailable. We can't take your message at this time. Please call again later. Goodbye".
And if I press and hold 1 on the keypad, she says the same thing but 'not available' instead of 'unavailable'.

on my screen there is no, ,greeting" button to push and i just want to reset my greeting and not customize it like my voicemail is saying when i call it. does anybody know why???

I can’t even access the voicemails. It says to put a passcode but when I do it says “error”

OK so it’s not letting me reset my password when I click on the phone, the voicemail change password is not showing

I can’t get through the first example. I enter passwords on the set up screen and I always get an error message saying “VOICEMAIL ERROR try again later”. I cannot get past this and there are no other options. Any ideas?

I used the press phone, keypad, 1 and could hear messages! Wow! I had to hold phone close to hear the sound was very low, yet it shows my volume on the phone is up as high as it can go. It's better than NOT knowing what voice messages I have. And missing important calls and friends saying why don't I call them they left a message! I never used my cell phone much, but I just canceled my landline it got so expensive So, I now need to know and understand how to use my iphone7. Thanks so much
