Backstory: simo hayha was a farmer who lived with his uncle in Finland. His dad gave him a rifle as a gift, to hunt animals. Simo hayha later then practiced a lot with that rifle. He then had a courage to join the Finnish army. One day, he got old enough, and got in the army. Then the winter war broke out. He thought that scopes would show your position, so he never used a scope. One day shooting Russians, he got shot in his jaw. In the hospital, he had to fix the jaw with a rib piece. That's The White Death. He didn't even use a scope to kill his enemies. He would would stay perfectly still, so the snow could cover his body, to camouflage him. He even put snow in his mouth, to prevent him from doing big breaths. The enemy even tried using a bombardment, just to kill him. He survived, only having his cloths ripped.

This man was literally the coldest sniper

A simple man, defended his homeland, knew his geography and tools to the best effect on the invaders and kept quiet about it after the war. Even the Soviets knew about the demoralising effect of White Death. A true role model.
