Hi Joe - it’s Big Rodders in Ireland. I’m a numbers and statistics guy like you so I enjoyed your analysis. In my previous life I met so many guys who worked hard but because they didn’t keep a close eye on their numbers and objectives their efforts were in vain. Rookies don’t always realise that hard work doesn’t necessarily produce results unless there is a focus on productivity.

I just made my first very large purchase for firewood delivery. I'm starting with the customer and it allows me to deliver pre-stacked wood pretty much anywhere the customer wants it. I've learned to look at "added value" by watching your channel and I'd just like to say thank you so much for your videos, Joe! You've helped me a ton in making decisions. 🤠👍

Morning Joe, up here in NW Ontario a load of wood is around $2k, but it’s 20 bush cords. Started processing this first load for the business, couple saws and a road range splitter. Looking forward to the firewood expo! Cheers! 🪵🔥🇨🇦🇺🇸

I continue to be amazed that your stacks don't fall over.

The difference between you and the company I work for is we a tree company and supply are own wood and have people who split and also own a processor and 5 double splitters and have two lots to keep wood on but the one closest to town takes the people who pickup there own wood and the farm the other lot we delivered to state and county parks open year round been at it fifty years and still going strong enjoy watching your videos my friend we have 3 clam loaders to pick up the wood from jobs and to load the processor with when operating it at both lots then have a big really big splitter for four to six feet around pieces we split and run through the processor so get use out of all the wood and have places to dump chips and stump grindings and have a wood boiler for heating the shop and office and we also have a sawmill for cutting some logs also after a few years you can get stuff like that and everything is paid for

I hate stacking wood but a stacked woodyard looks so nice and professional. Nice work! -Rob

Every single one of those factors seem to be on point and accurate would say that specific log load has certainly proved to be a winner

Another informative video Joe. A very large change in the condition of your yard. Must say the snow was amazing to me. You run your yard to suit yourself, and you are successful. More power you mate. Have a great day and cheers from HB NZ

Good thing to do. Now you can estimate the number of cords you can get from eying up a load on a truck.

That's a good bit of wood! I have always wondered how much you can actually get out of a load like that. Nice video Joe! 👍👍

That's a great yield from that truck of logs! Woodyard is looking great (even if soggy) as always.

Nice firewood from that load. On my processor conveyor same problem with cable, went and upsized it, now way over strength.
Firewood looks nice off the ground on pallets

Joe, your Numbers are right on. I do not sell any as yet and was thinking about it but have decided not to after all. The Firewood around here goes for 300 to 350 a Cord. It has to come Locally no more than 50miles away because of Invasive Species. Plus now here in the State of New York the Push is on to Ban Wood Burning Stoves. Hopefully that never Happens. Great to See you out in Your Woodyard, mine is coming along and Maybe over the Weekend to get some Wood hopefully. We are Expecting 1 to 3inches of Snow tonight followed by Rain. So this Weekend looks possible to get to my Logs. Stay Safe out there Buddy and See you at the Next Video. Ron from the Woodyard in Duanesburg NY.

As usual, great job. You are an inspiration to us rookies!

With warmer weather the frost leaves the ground and everything gets soft. My limestone driveway is soft also.

Thanks for sharing your business info. I’m with you on the stacking, looks so much better for marketing and the loading out of a pile is so unpleasant for the back and ankles. You got your business by the tail 👏🏻👏🏻🇺🇸.

Probably should add a stand roller in between the deck and processor to let the shorter logs span the gap. You can buy one at Harbot Freight cheap enough. Save the extra work of hand feeding or needing an extra person to help.
