I love how, even after 13 years, the CGI of the transformers themselves is still flawless. They look 100% REAL. Truly some of the best work ILM has ever done.

Gotta love the way Optimus immediately sets a different tone compared to Barricade. He approaches cautiously, kneels without looming over the smaller humans, and the first thing he does after asking Sam’s identity is provide his own.

He describes his species and names their home. And while the two humans might be overawed they also now have a vital bit of knowledge that reassures them.

Optimis Prime is saying ‘we have names. We have a people. We have a home. Like you do.’

I cannot even begin to imagine how original fans must’ve felt watching those 4 meteors hit the ground watching them gain their vehicle forms, with the last one being a blue and red truck. And then they all group up and the camera focus’s on the truck as one of the greatest hero’s of the 80’s appears. And in a voice you’d recognize anywhere, he introduces himself with “my name is optimus prime”, they brought the original voice actor back holy shit! All set to one of the finest pieces of music ever put in a movie.

The visuals, the atmosphere, the music, this whole scene is absolutely majestic. And then there’s the cherry on top, Peter Cullen!

Every time I watch this scene I just choke up. It's as if you are reuniting with your childhood heroes after so many years.

THE BEST SCENE EVER IN A TRANSFORMERS MOVIE. 3:08 The scene where Optimus comes through the smokes and ratchet's siren sound still gives me chill even till today. Goosebumps every time I see it

Saw this opening night in a sold out theater. This little boy yelled out at the top of his lungs “here they come!” when the fireballs first appeared and everyone just let loose with cheers.

Say what you will about the film series, but these scene, its just about holy. The music, the cinematography. The tease of each Autobot by the vehicle he chose. And Optimus Prime's reveal...

You can totally tell Steven Spielberg was more hands on with this movie than the other TF sequels that he executive produced. This feels more like a scene in one of his movies than a Michael Bay movie. The excitement, wonder, and awe are everywhere here, and I appreciate every second of it.
