Just looked them up, this person has a total debt of 12k in parking tickets including multiple fire hydrant tickets, speeding in school zone and bus lane. Looks like they just don't care.

I had to investigate what "Taxpayer" is and will share in case you don't know. When someone owns a parcel of land in the city and wants to keep it for a while as an investment to sell later after prop values go up, they often will tear down whatever structure was there and replace it with something minimal that will generate enough income to pay the minimum property taxes such as a small business on the bottom floor with a residence for the owner on the second floor. These are often poorly constructed because its done on the cheap and can be a fire trap. These are a red flag for firefighters who are very aware of them and therefore give these special attention as we see in this video. That's what I learned hope it helps someone.

Great video. Thanks for NO annoying play by play or unnecessary chatter.

Imagine thinking you're lucky that there are 200 firefighters and 20 trucks already waiting, while the shop next door to you is burning, just to watch your shop burns aswell while they're just watching.
This felt like getting shot in a hospital bed inside the surgery room and paramedics take you to another hospital 45min away while you bleed to death

I love the use of drones to get a birdseye view of the fire scene. I always thought this would be a perfect for the fire service when drone first became widely available and cheaper.

Then car wasn't even blocking the hydrant though? That was a ridiculous overreaction

It seems counterproductive to be running the fire hose through the automobile windows. It would seem just as easy to run the hose over the car or around it.

Batt. Chief: “Fire is doubtful”
Fire: “Oh I’ll make you a believer”

That looked completely unnecessary, such a power trip

Maybe wait untill the whole block lit up.

The car is technically illegally parked. But they could have hooked up without breaking the windows in this specific case

I have NEVER seen so many guys standing around with their hands in their pockets.

Hopefully there were no injuries to anyone related to this incident.
Thank you to all firefighters everywhere for protecting the citizens of your coverage area.

Firefighter: “Are we going to let water in?”
Chief: "No, it will go out on its own")

OK, at 19:50, was it really necessary to break the cars windows to make the plug hook up? If it was right in front of the hydrant blocking it, I'd completely understand.

Putting the hose through the car, what in the hell is the purpose of that!

Jesus...the time it took Pugsly to bust out those windows, he could have properly ran that hose instead of running it like it was his first day on the job. Prime example of why people are developing a negative view of first responders.

OK, don't get the hose routing through a car @19:30. Ideas ?? They've made the job harder by looks..
