I love the Jesus Prayer and I love those bells. Every parish and monastery has a different way of ringing their bells. The lead bellringer at my parish describes the ringing of the bells "Calling the faithful and waking the pagans".

With the Jesus prayer, we are calling on the name of the Lord, and we are burning the demons.

I've tried this for anxiety today I suddenly got an an attack out of nowhere just sitting in my room on my bed. Instead of my old tricks, I used my prayer rope and did the Jesus prayer, now I feel great.

When i pray jesus prayer i feel like that sinner who is crying to God in the parable but infact i am a sinner and just like padre said there is the mercy ....i feel that mercy from jesus..flow to the lowly sinner me..its a experience that humbles me daily...gives me the impression that I'm nothing but a sinner who lives by our lords mercy each day...and im a pentecost and i don't care ....
