Local here, born and raised in Danang, it's nice to see my city from the expat perspective. I agree that May-August is one of the worse times to visit Danang, the heat recently is absolutely unbearable

The pools at 3:10 and 3:42 look nice! Which property are they at? Thanks!

Many videos ago you mentioned that you were considering doing a video about how you built your ebike in Vietnam, explaining how you found your donor bike and sourced the parts. That would make an interesting video. I hope that is still the plan.

Why would you avoid it in November? Does it rain all day? I planned to combine Da nang with my holidays in Thailand in November but I'm really not sure if thats a good idea

Hello Chris, the temperature may be hot but the trade off is that beautiful beach and inviting water. Cheers sir and thanks for sharing.

just got back a month ago and aside from being ill (probably with covid) the first two weeks i climatized quite quickly actually, was about 30-35 every day in SGN and was absolutely fine after 4yrs away... takes a week or two to adjust of slowly increasing the air-con by 1degree each day and going outside for longer & longer stretches each time but within 10days was pretty much fully climatized to it.... now they bringing back the 3m visas again will have to do it all over again when I get back later this yr/early next! lol South is hotter for sure..

Found your channel when researching Vietnam, have watched a few of your videos, and found them very informative! Subscribed AND 'clicked the bell', the latter is something I almost never do, but really want to catch your videos as you release them!

We are planning a trip to Vietnam in 2024, near end May is it is our anniversary, but in this video, you say it is getting getting hot and humid at that time... Coming from South Africa, we don't mind hot weather, but 30C+ and dry hot winds doesn't sound pleasant... should we maybe rather aim for February/March maybe?

Thanks for the great weather tips! I couldn't stay there in June July August - way too hot for me. Haha

Chris, I want to bring my 16 year old kids to Vietnam for July. We like to explore and we are quite adventurous but I'm wondering about the rains - which parts do you think would be best to explore as we can only come in July. Thanks for the great info

thank you for sharing your journey with us Chris!
We plan to come to Da Nang in autumn time. Can you talk more about your work or the overall experience with applying for jobs in vietnam, especially in Da Nang?
How can we get the TRC through work?
We only found jobs in Hanoi or HCMC. My partner and I plan to stay longterm, so that would be interesting, to learn more about.

🤔 The beach looked nice, why "no swimming" signs? Is it always no swimming or only sometimes?
