If you need to perform a hard reset on your Moondrop MIAD 01 to remove a forgotten password or restore the device to its original settings, follow this guide carefully. Note that a hard reset will erase all data on your device, so back up any important files beforehand if possible.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Power Off the Device

Press and hold the Power button until the power options appear.
Select Power Off to completely shut down the device.
Enter Recovery Mode

Once the device is off, press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons simultaneously.
Keep holding both buttons until the Moondrop logo appears, then release them to enter Recovery Mode.
Navigate in Recovery Mode

In Recovery Mode, use the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons to navigate through the menu options.
Scroll to Wipe data/factory reset and press the Power button to confirm your selection.
Confirm the Reset

Navigate to Yes – erase all user data and press the Power button. This action will delete all data, settings, and personal information on the device.
Reboot the Device

After the reset process is complete, return to the main Recovery Mode menu.
Select Reboot system now by pressing the Power button. Your device will restart, and all settings, including the password, will be removed.
After Resetting:
Upon reboot, you’ll be guided through the initial setup process.
You can set a new password or lock method, and restore backed-up data if available.
This process will successfully reset your Moondrop MIAD 01, allowing you to access the device without the previous password.
