Your video confirmed my decision that, like going from an S9 to the S20 smartphone, it is best to skip a generation to achieve worthwhile upgrade.
So I'm skipping the 85t unless it goes on comparable Black Friday sale.

Sony remains ANC king - on buds & headphones. Voice quality king on buds - now only if they could replicate that on their WH series headphones. Aaron - i really wonder why other reviewers do not do a side-by-side comparison - that's by far the easiest way for us to compare features like ANC/voice quality etc.

There are battery issues with sony wf-1000xm3 after firmware update to 3.0.0. mine after update can only play music around an hour... Sorry if my english is not good.

off topic from the video but what are the differences between the marshall monitor 2 and the marshall monitor bluetooth besides the anc and app? i cant find any comparisons online

I have been waiting for this comparison. I had the 85t and when talking to someone they can really hear background noise. When I switched my call using the galaxy buds live, the caller said it was much much more quiet. It seems like the call quality is the same on the 85t as the 75t. That's disappointing because I MUST have clear calls but I also wanted the side tone so I'm not screaming on the call. 6mics!! How could that not be better than 75t??
Aaron, could you test the 1more anc with thx against the 85t?

Lastly, aaron could you add wind noise to your test??

It bothered me that Jabra sold wireless buds with the words "passive noise cancelling" in bold on packaging and on advertising. I don't think the majority of buyers are watching videos like this. I suspect that a non enthusiast will miss the distinction between passive and active. If I stick my fingers in my ears is that passive noise cancelling? It felt like a very underhand sales tactic to me. I am very happy with my Sony wf1000xm3. I use a Sony Experia phone and the xm3 play very loud with it. On a Huawei phone the volume was about half of that of the Sony Experia. I tend to listen at a volume many people find too loud but with the Sony phone max volume is too loud for me. Not all phones are equal when it comes to audio.

Great video, as always, Aaron. If there’s one thing I hate about the Sonys its the call quality. Mine do not sound as good as yours lol. Not that I use them for calls a lot, but when I do, people can hardly hear me. What would you recommend for better call quality but still great sound quality and good ANC?
