I am really confused because I performed the exact same scans on the IP I was given as requested and got completely different results.. Like I found that all the ports are closed

I had not understood that I had to use the nmap from my machine to the tool box one, was so confused when I used the scans on the tool box machine and some scans were returning wrong results lol

Thanks mate great walkthrough, Do you have any idea why when I did Xmas scan all ports are returned with RST packet and look closed when your were Open|Unfiltered and got no response

my xmas scan also different and not saying the same as yours, any idea what the issue could be i get Not shown: 996 closed ports
Reason: 996 resets

Oh finally I found it! I'd finished all the questions except the one with the answer "firewall evasion". IDK why but that didn't hit me, lol.
