Yep, did a quick rundown:
1. did everything in the vid - including the disable extensions (hinting at the adblockers)
2. sure it "worked"

Re-enabled the adblocker = back to slow and laggy
Disabled the adblocker = not laggy anymore

Conclusion: If you check at google about this issue, at the time of writing this, Youtube/Google is calling it as an "issue" and can be fixed by disabling adblock

So in short, Youtube is doing its thing of cracking down on adblock, *sigh*, I'd rather just use something else other than Youtube, but just gotta stick to the millions of unnecessary ads through every video, I suppose

But still thanks for the help, though it's mostly Youtube's fault for forcing us into a pro subscription

Turn youre Adbloack off. After that it should work perfectly unfortunately

Dont know if it was disabling hardware acceleration or disabling the ad block extention but it worked, thanks man <3

google keeps telling me the slow typing in youtube replies is my computer. but they don't listen to me when I tell them it only happens using chrome. not firefox, not safari. only chrome
