thank you very much for this tutorial. the only problem i'm having is that there is no cancellation button on my app when they are adding to the queue. i've looked all over, and i don't see any way to stop them from adding to the queue. Oh! I found it. Thank you!

I been driving for both Lyft & Uber in a major college town where most students are international therefore using Uber. I immediately sell them to downloading Lyft. I have found in my 8 years of driving that Lyft clientele are far better in many ways. Most Lyft riders have found the same having experienced both drivers. I’d like to know if there is a way to KEEP the auto added ride. It often disappears on me when I’m still delivering my current rider.

tier status affects your rewards, including ride filters you are allowed per day, plus discounts on rideshare related services. you must be aware of your driving score: acceptance rate; cancelation rate; star rating; safety flags; service flags; points earned per whole dollar from fare and tips during designated days and times.

I took Uber the other day paid $18 for a short trip. I ask my driver how much he got paid, he showed me he only got $6.45 that’s more than 60% they deducted from his fare.

When picking up a passenger, the app has some nasty tricks! I had one yesterday, $38 to the airport (39 miles), pickup at a freight yard, and the pickup point was set as the shipping office in the yard. There were two semis being offloaded and one being loaded, as well as multiple fork lifts flying in all directions, there is no way I could pull in there so I parked at the main office, 300 feet away and hit "Arrive".

Up pops a series of options, are you sure, yadda yadda, so I hit "just do it" or whatever. Come to find out that that cancels out any wait time or cancellation fee since I wasn't actually at the designated pickup point! What I should have done is scrolled down in the options to find the "I can't get to the destination safely". I'll know for next time since the rider never showed up and I had to cancel! :(

Background: over 650 rides on Uber, but they messed up my license info so I'm stuck waiting to get re-approved. Signed up with Lyft and this was my 2nd trip with them so I'm not familiar with the app!

I allow for accepting rides automatically. Nearly every time the ride has disappeared or changed if my current ride takes a few more minutes.

How come every time I hit the X because I don’t want the job I want of getting a cancellation notice from Lyft saying that we seen you canceled some jobs. I’m not talking about when the riders are in the car I’m talking about before I even except them just hitting the decks every time I do that I get a notification about canceling jobs and that you should go off-line. If I just let it go and don’t do anything. I never get those notifications can you explain
