Do you think Flick will make a good permanent manager? What other tactics did you notice?

You didn't mentioned his human side. How good he is getting out the best out from players. Off formed players like boateng, muller are now being one of the bests. The human side of Flick played a big role in bayerns success.. He can give confidence & make everyone believe that anything is possible & they can play good. That's his best Human side. Should've mentioned that cause bayern lacked it under pep, anchelotti, kovac... After Jupp Heynkes, there was no good communication between coaches & players. That returned in bayern..

They were a joy to watch against Chelsea. The passing and movement was brilliant.

how can this style of play be actually countered . their players are perfectly suited for everything in these tactics, even if a team is successfully countering bayern, they have davies and alaba to cover and if they cant stop it anymore . then they can bring javi martinez to solidify the midfield. this team is a nightmare . very well set up .

It’s amazing to think he has made us one of the best teams in Europe and he was assistant the whole time

Hansi Flick's Bayern Munich is championship material.

They're real contenders for each and every title ahead of them.

Just seeing Bayern in the title was enough for me to click. Not like I don't watch all your videos anyways

The main and most effective difference between Bayern Munich now and Bayern in 2016/17, 2017/18, Bayern in 2018/19 is the number and pace of vertical passes. Hansi Flick changed the coaching style and trained the players to ensure more vertical and central penetration rather than mere wing play. All the other things are kinda variable. Bayern players became afraid to play vertical and central passes after Pep Guardiola left the club and the coaches like Ancelotti and Kovac failed to notice that and weren't able to make meaningful changes. This is the main reason why Bayern looks for a German coach at the end of any tenure because its not easy to understand the philosophy of the club and build on that meaningfully.

Excellent video. Just to add that the only piece missing in this current play puzzle is inability to play inverted wingers, since they dont have a left footed winger. I hope when Sane comes in this is resolved. But still if only Flick plays him on the RW instead of LW and Gnabry/Coman on the left the potential of this team can be fully realised. Inverted wingers will allow the pace of Davies to be used to devastating effect going forward. It also makes the winger a deadly threat as they can go for shoot cutting inside with stronger foot or also slide a through pass for Lewa/Muller/Goretzka whoever plays Strike/CAM. Much like the Robbery era inverted wingers make the attack dynamic in nature. It brings three goal threatening positions together as the opposition defence has to block Striker, CAM and winger from scoring chance. This gives the winger option to release fullback into a virtually unmanned territory on the preferred foot with ample amount of time to pick a perfect cross. With the height and heading ability of Lewa, Muller, Goretzka this will prove Fatal for opposition.

I thought initially that Bayern were looking for any little excuse to get rid of Kovac because under him they still got excellent results. I.e the demolition of Spurs. But since he's been sacked, I felt that there was improvement beyond results. This video confirms this very well. Excellent work👍

Kimmich became more & more of a pivot ever since Davies moved from left wing to left back and pavard signed

honestly when Pep couldnt win the CL 3times with a team that should have at least won once(for me even 2) in those years it was clear that the their style which lous van gaal brought in 2009 needs to be altered not completely but according to the opponents. Flick did that and does plan to do it even more with transfers .
to win the CL you also need to develop your players you cant win alone with buying players from everywhere. So im happy to see Davies getting the trust after he played good to stay on as starter.
i hope we can see more of this soon. Fein comes back instead of buying a DM for €50+million i rather would give him a chance.
also in times like this 100+transfers are a NO GO!! hope they can get havertz for cheaper so when Müller retires we have the perfect player who already grew into world class!

Kimmich played in midfield since the beginning of the season. The reason was NOT Martinez' injury, rather the fact, that Kimmich played in midfield for germany and got used to it. He wanted to play there, so Kovac tried it out. So Pavard became RB, and Kimmich was the new leader in midfield.
But still, very nice video, I just wanted to mention it.
