It's more like a battle pass than an operation. Operations means missions and we didn't get any missions in this update.

First thing to know is that this is not an operation and only a cash grab, valve went full sellout

Bruh this is like 25% of an operation max! No gamemodes, maps, map based factions, missions, coin, new gameplay features...
It's horrible, nothing free and nothing fun 🙁

I bought 1000 snakebite cases 4 hours before valve dropped an operation for the first time in 34 months 🙃

Here is a little breakdown for yall I think it's important:

Let's say you buy 5 passes for $16 each, that costs you $80 in total. You farm all of them so you are going to have 200 credits. If you convert it 80$ = 200 credits, which is enough to buy 100 cases.

In $ one case will be $0, 8, becasue if you multiply it by 100 you will get the $80.

Consequently, you'll make profit if you can sell your cases over $0, 8 (after taxes).

Just keep this in mind in case it goes down a bit. I'm curious how the market will set the price of these items.

Don’t sleep on the charms. Ppl like to express themselves. Also the fact that they can be removed is important. Not to mention THEY HAVE RARE PATTERNS. One of my homies got the SAS buddy charm but has yellow eyes instead… pay attention when unboxing these little guys. There will definitely be cases with just charms in them and these first wave ones WILL be sought after one day.

how do we know this "operation" wont just stay forever? if it does they'll likely just switch the skins out but how do we know if they wont bring the non-limited skins (everything but the deagle) back into rotation? why is the deagle limited and nothing else is, if they're only planning on having the purchase ability of those other skins for the length of the "operation"? Also with the case only being purchasable through this Armory system will all future cases go through the Armory as well? will they cycle new cases in and leave the previous actually limited? Will the armory system really be a limited time thing like an operation? If not they'll likely keep releasing these items trapped behind a paywall while also releasing new drop pool cases. They removed the ability to buy stars with cash pushing more people to actually play and be invested which is smart but if it were only a temporary thing wouldn't they rather just let people buy stars and gamble like the usual cash grab operations? im starting to feel as if this is just a new permanent battle pass feature incentivizing people to have a purpose to continue playing where as before people were playing because (1) they enjoy it (2) they want to be better at it (3) the drop pool. Having something like this be a permanent feature like R6s seasonal battle pass would drive people to play more often then they already do. Honestly im over-worrying a bit but too many questions to be asked.

I can Imagine that after the Limited skin there will be two more for Like another 100 days each and that all the other stuff then will Last for Like 1 year until the next big Update drops

Why do you think this is an operation? Why do you think these items will be available for only a limited time (except the deagle)? Your whole argument is built on how operations used to work, but I'm not convinced this pass will work the same way.

Armory seems like a permanent thing then just a one time operation. Valve didn't mention this as an operation replacement or an openration in any kind. The passes can also be rebought after u finishing them. At the design core, this is technically a battlepass

Cases are probs the most safest thing to redeem atm, the deagle sure has cool patterns and all but has no trade up potential and is being redeemed at a high rate atm

1 star is like 1k xp, so easy to farm those, plus don't forget about automatic bots in dm. Therefore the case and the ltd will equalize according to the amount of stars they cost - 1x and 12.5x approx

Wasn’t it proven in the last operation that the items nobody purchased with stars saw the biggest increases in price because they had such low supply? Bayonet frog for example
