This copy of Wii Sports is FASTER than others 🤯

I remember thinking I was going crazy as a kid when I went to play Wii Sports on another family members Wii and did not see the opening cutscene for baseball like I had dreamt it.

1.01 also has the Miis throwing the ball to a base to get an out. 1.00 just has them catch it.

I remember owning 1.00 when I was younger and always saw a lot other videos feature the cutscene in 1.01. I always thought it was a secret for beating the champion of baseball, but I was sad to see that this wasn't the case.

I had a friend who had an original version of wii sports. He decided to bring his wii to school (I don't remember why) and it CRACKED IN HIS BAG. Needless to say he was upset, since they're quite rare compared to the other version

It wasn’t added *for 1.01* It’s missing from 1.00 because 1.00 is actually a *prototype* of the game that was put on the disks by accident.

I had the first version but after the disc of it stopped working we had to buy a new one. The new one had this opening cutscene and I was very confused.

Yep I had the earlier version when I was younger. My uncle bought us a used Wii that was being used at a Sports bar that still had Wii Sports in it. I looked back at the system’s history before and it definitely had multiple different owners, having old Zelda and an Old Marvel game on it back in 07. It’s still up and running to this day
