Alfa Romeo probably does the most beautiful factory wheels of all manufacturers.

Carbon bonnet from Gurit Automotive, prototyped on the Isle of Wight... manufactured in Hungary. Produced by a great team that I am proud to have been part of.

Actually I like the fact that car is not too noisy and that it has analog instruments.

Gorgeous car. Well done Alfa for going back to the proper way of building cars.

I own a giulia qv. After coming from an E92 M3, I must admit I did think it was a little quiet at first. I also thought slighter wider arches would have been great. After owning the car for a while though, I must say, I really love it. Its an absolute beast, but so liveable, and it really hooks you in. Chassis, steering and power delivery are really special. And it's such a stunning yet understated car.

i really appreciate that Harry used the magnet to indicate which part of the car was Steel vs Aluminum. Not many other car reviewers would think of that.

You always learn something watching Harry's reviews, like BMWs have turn signals!

The weighing thing is fantastic. There is so much bullshit involved with manufacturer quoted weights.

Bought this car 4 months ago - absolutely love it!

That Grin on Harry's face at around 13:28 tells you everything, this car is epic and that's why I picked up one.

It is a 9/10 car that I had for 2 years. Broadly agree with everything Harry has said, but it really gets under your skin and it is reliable, so you do the miles and smile even more. If you ever get the chance to drive one, or even better own one, do it! 😁

But they have the 4C for the crazy styling and exotic driving experience. This is a 4 door sedan that means you use it everyday, if they made it uncomfortable and too exciting I think many people wouldn’t buy it.

Like the idea of weighing as weight affects nearly everything.

I’d have one of these over anything tediously German anyday. A car with genuine character and soul. Sounds incredible

I'd have the Alfa over anything German, absolutely fabulous car.

God I miss my Alfa, it was big, heavy, FWD but it had a busso V6 and I adored it. Best car I’ve ever owned.

The real car weight is probably one of the most important stats and one of the most unappreciated since there is not pattern for measuring it across the industry and manufactures hide the specs which the car measured had, a bunch of options make a huge difference

A little harsh i thought Harry. You say it is a 9/10 car but you want more noise from the V6, more fins and spoilers and more excitement. Perhaps you should take it to the track Harry? How much can you really get from a 510HP, 1650KG rear wheel drive 4 door saloon on the road at semi legal speeds, over what it already gives you? 9/10 seems pretty damn good!!! It rides beautifully, it goes like stink, it has proved reliable and take it to the track and you can drift it all day long, or set a really fast time. Isn't this Alfa exactly what we have all been waiting for. Whats the point of a even more expensive hardcore version that you can't really use on the road, BMW keep getting it wrong with the M3 and that sounds terrible. I am pretty sure you could lose £10K very easily on this car. I think you are too much of an enthusiast perhaps Harry, with such a glorious history, we all want the perfect Ferrari beating Alfa, yet that history is over half a century ago at it's most recent really. Lets celebrate what we have here, a good looking, usable, well built, very fast everyday car that rides better than most in its sector. And without too many extras, a very competitive price point. M3 anyone, well maybe the new switchable 4 wheel drive one....

I’m a big fan of the Giulia Quadrifoglio - finally a decent and viable alternative to BMW and Mercedes offerings. Typically floored and quirky in an Italian way but still sets the benchmark for future performance Alfa’s. The rumoured Coupe version looks absolutely astonishing - but as always Alfa needs to see it to fruition whilst ironing out some of the saloons idiosyncrasies - Brilliant review as ever Harry!

In the late 70's early 80's I had three Alfas. First a 69 Giulia with Weber carbs that was a hoot to drive but after putting in two head gaskets I had to let it go. Then a 72 Giulia with fuel injection that I drove from Vancouver to Toronto and back without a problem. Got 30mpg as well. Lastly a 2000 GTV that I loved but a drunk ran into the back and wrecked it. Sure wish I had that car today. Really enjoyed them all. Wish I could afford one of these new ones. Seems like a great resurgence for Alfa.
