Sending your man to the grocery store and getting bombarded with texts was so real 😂 i laughed and showed my husband that its a universal thing

I truly appreciate you talking about the body image part of pregnancy. It’s real, raw and uncomfortable but it’s necessary. Love that you created a space for this discussion. It’s okay to feel conflicted and it’s okay to feel proud. Love this!!!

We appreciate the realness of the body talk!! Even though I am still working out 4 days a week and eating healthy, I still have a jump scare every time I look in the mirror 😂

I mean this is the absolute best and most beautiful way possible… your body will never be the same again. And that’s beautiful because you’re creating a life! I weigh less than I did before pregnancy, my little one is 16 months, and my body is not the same. And that’s okay!!

My advice would be to stop paying attention to how much weight you gain. You will gain weight. That’s inevitable. I know you are saying your body needs to do what it needs to do but it doesn’t seem like you’ve accepted that yet. obsessing over the number will not help. I have absolutely no idea how much I weighed at all during pregnancy or how much weight I gained. They will weigh you but you don’t have to pay attention to that and if it’s going to mess with you so much you can actually refuse to be weighed

You deserve to be at peace about your ever changing body so please try to ignore the number on the scale. It doesn’t matter. Your body will be different and it could take a very long time to get back to any sort of “normal” after you give birth.

bodily change hit me hard at the beginning of my third trimester for the first time when i thought i could fit into my pre-pregnancy summer dresses (no idea what i was expecting 😅). tbh cried and felt down about it for half a day, then i got over it once i felt baby LITERALLY kick me out of that mindset. im growing a whole human!! 37 weeks and i’ve gained 30 pounds from pregnancy and im perfectly fine with that. when you consider how much everything with baby development weighs (baby, uterus, placenta, amniotic fluid, body fat to prep body for this whole human, boobs growing, etc), weight gain is to be expected! love you rachel and continuous prayer for healthy baby and mama! you are doing so well!!! 🩷

Thank you so much for this insightful video, Rachel. It's comforting to hear someone talk openly about the changes our bodies go through during pregnancy. It can indeed be scary and overwhelming at times, but knowing that others are experiencing the same challenges makes it a bit easier. Your honest and supportive approach helps normalize these feelings and provides much-needed reassurance. Keep up the great work!

P.s. I bought the Ritual prenatal vitamins and have been using them for 3 months now and love them!

I am 16 weeks pregnant and have never been at the weight I’m at either. I’ve always told myself I workout to feel good and for my mental health and I am still doing it for that reason while I’m pregnant! Kudos to your weight lifting. I barely can do the barbell by itself, I get so out of breath now lol!

Pregnancy is really a crazy journey... Most people don't talk about the feelings around the changing of the body so thank you! After i gave birth the skin and muscles felt soo soft and loose that it almost felt like it's not part of my body. It was a really weird feeling and lasted a long time. No one i know or watch ever talked about that. And i didn't even gain a lot of weight.. Everything just got softer, as it should to be able to give birth but it was driving me a bit crazy none the less

Patiently waiting for the baby’s arrival and praying for the baby’s health is a ok.😊

I gained so much in both my pregnancies but didn’t work out like you & ate so unhealthy. It was still worth it to have our beautiful 2 daughters. ❤❤ You are looking and doing great. Keep it up & pushing the water. The cheese stick looked good & that key lime pie!

I started my pregnancy at 58Kg, I was too skinny tho', and ended it at 72Kg. Although everybody told my I looked fantastic and only my belly grew I couldn't help it to worry about if I would ever go back to my before pregnancy shape. Now im 2 months postpartum and almost back to how I was before. I know not everyones body is the same and that's not what we should be worrying about at this time. We should care that we are healthy, baby is healthy and that (if you brest feed) can provide enough milk and still be in good shape to care for baby.
My point is you can be aware of that and still be worried about what you look like, I think its natural to miss your prebaby self and to be scared that maybe you will never look the same again.

It’s such a crazy thing how your body changes!! I am 10m PP and my entire body is different. I lost all the weight I gained but I was left with loose skin.

Pregnancy is amazing!! It’s so cool what the female body can do. If it helps at all- I feel my shape and body is better post pregnancy (took a few years though) than pre-pregnancy 😊

I ate exactly the same in pregnancy as I ate before pregnancy and I gained about 22 pounds total. I ate exactly what I wanted when I wanted during pregnancy and didn’t hold back.
There really is no controlling the weight!! 😊
