Exploders possess a horrific and unpredictable temper. It’s never clear what’s going to set them off. Imagine working for Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde or with a ticking time bomb that could go off at any minute.
Charmers are just that—charmingly agreeable, affable, delightful to be around, and people you think you can confide in. But watch out. Later they will stab you in the back, pit you against another employee, reveal secrets and ideas that you’ve told them, or whittle away at your authority behind the scenes.
Wet blankets earn their name by dampening everything around them and shooting down ideas with lines such as “We’ve been there, done that, and I know it won’t work.” Their motto? No can do.
Know-it-alls hate to appear vulnerable or to seem like they don’t know what they are doing and will protect their top-dog status at any cost. They don’t ask for anyone else’s opinion and are convinced that their own ideas are always the best.
