I like Virginie and I actually like when she plays safe! I agree she needs more time and I don’t think she is been doing a bad job, Chanel revenues speak on its own, don’t you think?. I love Chanel still today and it’s been 15 year’s love ❤️ you mentioned the caramel bags, and the top handle you hate lol but I adore! Loved and agree with your comment on Chanel accusing YSL of copying. initially when I saw the show I to thought this is not the Saint Laurent I know and love and tweed is Chanel's bag but had to check myself becasue Chanel does not own Tweed. Also in terms of quality YSL is miles ahead fo Chanel right now and that's what they really should be focusing on. You can't be increasing prices but quality is going down!

I forgot about Olivier Theskyns(sp?). What he did many years ago at the house of Rochas was spectacular. It was not practical or profitable but he would understand a couture house. He is respected in the fashion industry and l think he would make an interesting choice for Chanel IF they decide to replace VV. There is also that new person at Lanvin and the designer at Schiaparelli.

And yes Virginie Viard need some time to make and find her style and not doing some Lagerfeld style but in the same time she must not failed a collection. It's not easy for her.
