The Creation Of The 3 Unforgivable Curses Theory

The Unforgivable Curses..named so because they are so awful that they are deemed unforgivable..if any wizard or witch were to use these dark spells, they would earn themselves a one way ticket to Azkaban for life. This made me wonder, who created them, when were they created and more importantly, why were they created? Where they created by one individual? Or did someone down the line categories these three spells together because they’ve done the most damage over the centuries..In todays video I’m going to do my absolute best to shed some light on how I believe these spells were created. Just wanted to add guys, Pottermore states the curses were invented in the Middle Ages...so the 'ancient times' argument isn't really valid, thats what originally led me to the Peverell Brothers..

Imperio/Invisibility Cloak = (invisible) control
Crucio/Elder Wand = (visible) control
Avada Kedavra/Resurrection Stone = the ability to control death

In my opinion, the Imperious curse is the least dangerous. It all depends on what you force the victim to do, really. What if you used the Imperious curse on someone and forced them so do something as innocent as opening a tight jar of mayonnaise?

Anthioch-the killing curse, because of the elder wand
Cadmus-the cruciatus curse, because for most people it is a lot of pain to see loved ones, but be unable to touch them
Ignotus-the imperius curse, because with the invisibility cloak he could manipulate the situation

An interesting theory but my first impression was that Antioch would've created avada kedavra and Cadmus made crucio. Antioch's duel in the story was said to be quick which to me suggested him using a killing curse. Also the killing curse is unblockable which would've surprised any wizard before the spell became widely known. I thought Cadmus would've created crucio because in the story he killed himself because seeing his dead wife turn cold was the highest form of torture for him. Therefore as a form of dark irony, he created a spell that would inflict that equivalent level of torture on other people.

I think your on the right track but if you look at the names of the three brothers,

Antioch, Cadmus and Ignotus. The letters in their names match with the first letters of each curse.

Antioch - Avada Kadavra
Cadmus - Crutio
Ignotus - Impirio

I don’t think antioch would want to cause pain to his enemies, he would want to kill them. And Cadmus is the brother who wanted to bring his dead fiancée back to life, so would the understandings of never actually being able to do that cause him unimaginable pain? I think he understood that pain and thats what inspired the effect of the crutio curse.
