I know this is supposed to be a minor part of the soundtrack, but it is actually one of the best pieces of music in the entire series. Wish it were longer!

Yep, after all these years this is still my favorite from the ME3 OST! There's something about this track that somehow resonates with me, it feels like just this track alone is telling me about the whole Mass Effect trilogy story in just 2 minutes using nothing but sound!! It has a somewhat sad, epic tone to it that I just lack the words to fully explain what it makes me feel!!

This song to me truly captures the very essence of what Mass Effect is. The ominous tone speaks volumes about the true darkness that the reaper threat represents. The underlining synth echoes the mystery and unfathomable scale of the ongoing war and its toll upon the galaxy. It also speaks to Shepard, the warrior...the protector who is uncertain of the future and if she will succeed, but knows that no matter the cost...this war must end.
