Mending or Infinity in Minecraft | Which Do You Choose?

What is your favorite Enchantment for the Bow? Mending or Infinity.

"Pros" seem to prefer Mending because Infinity doesn't work with tipped arrows. And besides, you can always pick up and reuse your arrows.

So when I did my first hardcore run, I had mending on my bow... and forgot to pack enough ammo. I think I had a stack and a half, which would be more than enough for most players—too bad my aim is abysmal, and I was out while the dragon was still at half health.

I survived—just waited for her to perch and whacked at her butt—but I'm Infinity for Life now.

I feel like it really comes down to whether you want to constantly replace arrows in your inventory (easy to replace), or After a long while replace your bow (much harder to replace than arrows), it comes down to whether you find the constant maintenance or the difficult replacement better. I personally like Infinity, because with unbreaking and 1 or 2 bow repairs (too expensive after a couple) the bow will last a very long time, and I also use a lot of arrows, so carrying around 1 stack isn't anywhere near enough for me.

Infintity, you can repair your bow with other bows (3 strings/sticks)

We haven't found a skeleton spawner in our world yet so I use Infinity, but once we do, I'll def make a Mending Bow as well

If you have a bow with Unbreaking III the avg durability will be around 1540.
Crafting a Bow to repair the current one once every 1540 uses is in my opinion much more comfortable than constantly making arrows or using up multiple inventory slots if you have more than 1 stack of arrows.

Whatever, I use spectral / tipped arrow which are not affected by infinity. So I just use mending From my once zombie librarian villager. 1 Emerald only. But it’s still your choice :)

They both are realllyyy good, but I would have to go with Infinity because I think it’s a little more convenient.

Tried both, infinity is Good and all until u can no longer repair the bow and u have to make a new one with all the enchantments again “Too Expensive “
